Again i`m posting poems 4 un-known poets ...loool .... da first was a colleague .... in da poem(Tazhabeen) & da other -this poem- 4 a friend in canada
btw.... she told me that this poem was written durin da war in Iraq ....
Believe
If you believe
that one day everyone will understand eachother
and things will just fall into place
and peace would be more than just talk,
it would be an action,
and war would be a thing of the past
everyone would know how it felt
to be loved
and when you say "I love you"
it would be more than just a saying
it would be a feeling that truly
came from the heart and soul
of your being
if you believe
that one person could make a difference
which in turn
lead to all of these
then thy shalt not
stop believing

i'm used to saying this word keteer : BELIEVE. i say it to my sis. when she starts losing hope in everything including herself. i say it to my friend when she starts having suicidal thoughts cause she's just had it with the world. i say it to myself to lift up my spirits when everything around me is turning black. i believe alright, i soooo believe that i cant believe myself sometimes!!
but dont u sometimes get sick of it?
i like the poem. actually, that kinda thing (the idea ya3ny) can so much come out of me !!!!

well...i dont write professionally ya3ny, bas i give it a try every once in a while....aslan i'm getting the feeling that almost eveyone writes these days!!
as for the poem, i think i know what i liked. i liked the optimistic "believing" spirit :D
yup .. sure ... everybody writes poetry those days ... well ...esra7a de 3ada se7eya lma nas keteer tekteb ....
btw ... lw kont btektby keda so u must publish some poems that u wrote oneday ...
